The pathology we will focus on as we move forward will be the “Causes” and the “Effects” of behaviors.  There are definable reasons why people do what they do, and unless these roots are exposed and properly processed, very little will change.   The problems most people face are multi-faceted and need to be dealt with as such if effective long-term change is expected.  Psychology is the study of the mind, all humans have one, and this is where the roots of most, if not all problems, exist.  Theocentric Christian counseling, “Christ-centered counseling” integrates psychology with Biblical Truth to address the complexities of individual lives.  It’s not about manipulating psychology or succumbing to humanistic influences but rather providing spiritual and emotional support in line with God’s Word.
